Looks like i have a similar issue as the Drum in this thread: Drum stuck in sync mode?
We have a Dato Duo and the kids like it a lot. Recently we connected it to a volca beats and used it as sync source for the duo. Works great, but now the duo is just not playing when we hit the play button, unless we connect the volca beats to the sync in.
Is there a way to reset the duo other than powering it down or disconnecting the power? (doing so does not resolve the issue).

Hi Dridde, thanks for the clear description and videos! This looks like an issue with the mini-jack sync port. If you haven’t yet, you could try inserting the mini-jack cable a few times into the sync port and see if this fixes it.
Besides disconnecting it from power, there’s no ‘hard reset’ of the DUO.
Please let me know how it goes by mailing to support@dato.mu - and could you also include your serial number? It’s the four-digit code on the bottom of the DUO.
